Our young and innovative team is committed to develop and introduce new clinical applications in PET/CT and SPECT/CT to find the most appropriate answers to relevant clinical questions. Therefore, a wide range of imaging applications provide the high-standard of patient care in our institution. ScanoMed continuously participates in clinical research trials in cooperation with several national and academic institutes, medical clinics and hospitals. Moreover, we continuously take part in clinical trials in collaboration with international drug research companies. Our professional multidisciplinary team (physicians, physicists, technologists, radiochemists) and most advanced imaging devices ensure high quality patient care.
Brain and cardiac nuclear medicine studies are in the main focus of our interest. The AnyScan® TRIO SPECT/CT System (Mediso), as a unique and state-of-the-art technology in hybrid molecular imaging provides the opportunity to unfold the unknown secrets of this field of research. Triple detector SPECT imaging systems have long been the nuclear medicine gold standard for high resolution detection of brain and cardiac abnormalities over the past three decades. The integration of the unique AnyScan® SPECT/CT system with Multi-PinHole collimators created a triple-detector SPECT/CT hybrid imaging system, called AnyScan®TRIO. AnyScan® TRIO means a quantum leap forward for quantitative and PET-like clinical SPECT/CT imaging. This ground breaking hybrid technology ensures high resolution, outstanding tomographic sensitivity and exact quantification, all combined within one SPECT/CT System. We believe that the results of our research will contribute to the successful treatment of patients with neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases. AI-based solutions in medical imaging are another important topic in our clinical research. We participate in the development and validation of AI-based applications in nuclear medicine, which support the decrease of patient-radiation exposure and more confidence in reporting.
